Mas Belles Eaux has a new website. Check it out.

I had the opportunity in February this year (during Vinisud) to visit Mas Belles Eaux.

Now they have a new website and I wanted to share it with you:

Paying homage to the vibrant colours of the South of France , the new website www.mas-belleseaux.com celebrates the beauty of the Mas Belles Eaux vineyards, set in the very heart of the Languedoc.
From invoking the spirit of the region to a guided tour of the winery, each section is magnificently illustrated with photographs bathed in that magical South of France sunlight. With a specially-produced film, technical director Cédric Loiseau guides visitors as they explore the natural treasures of a terroir whose wines are worthy rivals for any Grand Cru in the world.

From the fresh aromas of the Mas Belles Eaux Rosé to the fruity elegance of Les Coteaux, the Belles Eaux portfolio of wines gathers together the finest flowers from the terroir, with full details of the different grape varieties and wine profiles for downloading.

To keep everyone up to date with the latest news from the estate, the website Gazette is packed with exclusive features, including a behind-the-scenes look at the blending of the 2011 vintage wines.

Exploring www.mas-belleseaux.com is like taking a relaxing stroll around the sun-dappled vineyards, and encountering a few pleasant surprises along the way. In the summertime this virtual tour becomes a reality with the popular ‘Nocturnes’ tastings, accompanied by South of France ‘tapas’. All under the stars and the floodlit trees beside the estate house. From June 13 onwards, every Wednesday through to Septem
ber, Mas Belles Eaux is open to visitors to enjoy a ‘Nocturnes’ evening (subject to reservation).

Now I have to find a way to be there on a Wednesday evening... :)

Cheers,

EWBC 2012 Post Trip to Georgia. Yes, it's now a reality!

Yes, my fellow #winelover-s, it's now a reality that we are going on a EWBC post trip to the Republic of Georgia!!

I don't know if you remember, but on March 1st I posted this article: "#EWBCOFF (a post post trip to the Republic of Georgia)". Well, after almost exactly 3 months (REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON SATURDAY, JUNE 2nd) we will have the opportunity to book what, I'm pretty sure, is going to be a fantastic and memorable trip!

Before I visited the country in September last year, I didn’t know much of Georgia and its wine industry. But I had heard/read that Georgia (and other parts of the Caucasus) is considered to be the oldest wine-producing region of the world. I had also heard that the country has more than 500 indigenous grape varieties!

If you want to learn a little more about Georgia and its wines, please check the report of my visit to the country: Visit to the Republic of Georgia - My Final Report

Here is little tease from the EWBC page: "There are places in the world that remain unknown to us, places that have thousands of years of cultural history behind it, but is rarely appreciated by the outside world. Georgia happens to be one of these countries, teeming with diverse landscapes, vibrant gastronomy, generous people and enough wine history to keep you intellectually stimulated for decades."

I hope to see many of you there...

Cheers,
