FRANCOIS LURTON, who I have written about on several occasions has decided to SELL his interest in the Portuguese Estates, QUINTA DO MALHO and BEIRA DOURO.
SEVEN years after FRANCOIS LURTON fell in love with the vineyards of the DOURO Valley, the company has decided to focus its strategy on other vineyards and sell its stake to co-shareholders of 'CAPWINE'.
FRANCOIS LURTON, known as 'The Flying Winemaker' said, 'I HAVE CHOSEN TO LEAVE THIS LITTLE JEWEL TO OTHERS, SO AS TO HAVE THE MEANS TO WORK ON OTHER PROJECTS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO ME'.
Presently, FRANCOIS LURTON operates vineyards in France, Argentina, Chile and Spain.
We await to see what corner of the earth, Francois will engage his new wine adventure.
